Hitch head is not adjustable for height, but is solidly welded 2 inch solid steel stock. We have towed as much as 18,000 pounds with this hitch without problems. Great for someone looking for a hitch for extra heavy loads. Perfect match for a class IV or V hitch.
These hitches are currently selling for $875 and up with a adjustable head. Originally came with a height adjustable head, but was made with two inch tube stock. After the tube stock twisted under a heavy load, we had the head professionally welded to two inch solid stock for more rigidity and security.
This made the hitch super strong. The sway bars are 1 inch solid spring stock and gives superb control. Have use this hitch to tow a 25 foot boat and trailer and several large travel trailers.
