TILZ Soils & Compost is looking for an experienced Office Manager for our Poulsbo production facility. This role involves handling phone calls, emails, and daily customer interactions. Key responsibilities include monitoring a constantly changing product availability at our Poulsbo and Bainbridge locations, coordinating quickly with other departments, invoicing, project bidding, and dispatching trucking. Our company has lots of moving parts, so staying oriented is a must.
This is not a typical desk job; you will be active in our yard, inspecting customer loads in all weather conditions. Multitasking and a high level of organization are essential.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years of experience in landscaping supply, rock quarries, trucking, or compost/gardening fields.
- Personal experience with gardening or landscaping.
- Strong customer service skills and communication.
- Self-starter and eager to learn.
- Physically able to be on your feet throughout the day.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Schedule and Benefits:
Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 am to 4:15 pm (occasional shifts at the Bainbridge facility).
