This is an old banjo. I'm guessing, early 1900's. It was badly in need of cleaning, and it had a skin head, that was installed wrong. I took it completely apart and cleaned and polished all the parts. I installed a new Renaissance head and set it up for playing. This banjo has a great tone ring, and it sounds fantastic. If you like open back banjos, you'll love this one. I live near Brinnon on Hood Canal. I have around 40 banjos, a couple of banjo ukes and a couple of lap steels that are ready to play, so come on up and play them all.
