Hi! This is a banjo that I built from a New Gold Tone 19 fret 5 String banjo neck. I used a Canadian maple rim with a brass tone ring in it with about twice as much brass in it as a rolled brass tone ring used in a lot of other banjos. I have used this rim in 5 other banjos that I built and worked out well. It's a great banjo for travel or just for someone with shorter arms. It sounds great and plays great. I live near Brinnon on Hood Canal. I have around 30 to 40 banjos. I also have a couple of Uk banjo that are ready to play, so come on up and play them all.
