Vintage Kay 5112 Auditorium Acoustic Flat Top Guitar, Made in USA in the mid/late 50s . Probably Made by Harmony
This old Kay has a great deal of character and amazing tone to boot. It's a Kay 5112 Auditorium model, solid top cousin to the popular all mahogany 5110. It's got a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, bound top and back, big chunky neck with a nice wide 1-13/16" nut width on 15" ladder braced Auditorium sized body, Original set of butter bean 3 x 3 tuners, original nut and Original saddle. It has the original logo on head stock intact, original pickguard
[Has SLIM] written in marker - please see picture sand strap peg and the original brass frets, There is wear from years of enthusiastic playing with some scrapes and cosmetic wear. It seems to have a nice straight neck, so the playability could be fantastic with loads of mojo and character, this one has it in spades
