Jefferson Fine Home Builders is seeking a motivated apprentice carpenter to join our team building and remodeling some of Bainbridge Island's finest custom homes.

Our work includes speculative homes, custom homes, major remodels, detailed finish carpentry, exterior siding and trim packages, deck construction, and projects that demand a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in residential construction. Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. The most important qualifications are a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• $25–$32 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities
• Assisting carpenters with siding, exterior trim, deck construction, and finish work
• Assisting with all phases of custom home construction and remodeling
• Material handling, organization, and jobsite logistics
• Jobsite setup and cleanup
• Operating hand and power tools safely
• Learning residential construction methods and best practices
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organized jobsites
Qualifications
• Construction experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Desire to learn a skilled trade
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials safely
• Basic hand tools preferred
