1948 GMC Silversides, does not run. I have never run or drove this bus. Has big potential, the inside is gutted ,someone butchered the side door the driveline is inside the bus needing universal joints .the engine is a 671 Detroit has a 4 speed on the colume .These buses are getting hard to find. I had one that I moved a family out to forks 59 mph drove like a dream! sold that one to Doug Lemay ,I think it's still at mary mount today. most likelyThe 671 will run. the old Detroits generally don't freeze up, they are slobered in oil . I know of another bus locally and I have a 1947 Callum Transit bus simular in drivetrain.
