I just wanted to give a heads up to everyone. I hired Ezequiel at Artisan Landscapes (or Artisan Construction) from Next Door in February. He had a beautiful picture of a landscaping job he’d done. He was hired to rejuvenate my lawn and make it pretty again. We agreed on a price of $3,000.00. He came out, aerated, thatched, put down peat moss and over seeded. He said (in texts, and I’ve got all his texts) if there was no growth he’d come back and reseed for free. He came back, threw seed and peat moss on hard ground that didn’t germinate either. I’m not in the business, but I know throwing grass seed on hard ground won’t germinate. My yard now has more bare spots than before and looks like crap. An ethical businessman would figure out it’s a bigger job than he bargained for and would make it right. Instead, he texted me that he’d have to charge me more to come out and fix it. I offered him an out and said I’d accept half the money back, I’d just eat the $1500.00. He declined and said he had bills to pay. We’re senior citizens in our 70’s living off Social Security, so $3000.00 is a chunk of change that we can’t afford to throw away. So this is a heads up, don’t trust this guy to do the right thing.
