Stunningly Beautiful design by Johannes Andersen, for Uldum Mobelfabrik in Denmark. The set is very original having received only minor restorative work as needed, maintaining consistent patina throughout. They are sturdy with none of the legs loose or creaky. The blue velvet is approximately two years old, and in very good condition. It is hard to photograph as it is velvet. No fading or inconsistency of color. It's a really gorgeous blue that plays with the teak perfectly. Everything is done professionally, and is excellent work. The set is quite rare, and we have 7. I only found one other set in all of my searches. It was 6 rosewood chairs, which frankly do not look nearly as nice the teak. This particular design is some of the best work by Johannes, making most other MCM chairs, no matter who the designer, look a bit more clunky after seeing the upper back on these. It's wow factor.
These were in our house in Palm Springs, so you can see them in a proper setting in the photos. Pool table not included. :) Thank you.
