Offered here today for your enjoyment and consideration is this beautiful, fine lead crystal trophy style paperweight in baseball motif by the legendary Belgian glass maker, Val St. Lambert. This article stands about 3" tall and rests on a circular base of about 3.25" diameter. The ball itself measures about 2.5" diameter. Pentagonal sections of the ball are alternately clear and frosted to give a true to life and better detailed appearance. It's a great looking item that can easily be used on desktop at home or at work to put your love of soccer on display for all to see. Alternately it ought to display beautifully as a tasteful accessory on tabletop or in curio. Note the Val St. Lambert signature on the edge of the trophy base as seen in the detail photo.
You'll find this piece to be in very good used condition. Sorry, but it came to us without box or paperwork so it's coming that way to you as well. The item is fully damage free suffering no chips or cracks. Likewise there is no stain, discoloration, or hard water deposit to be found. Surface wear is a virtual non-issue save for some light scuffing and scratches on the bottom surface. These seem to be commensurate with typical use and display and won't be seen without upending the artifact. Glass is of brilliant clarity and seems free from any mold imperfection or other factory defects. This is just a great looking, high quality piece of art glass that presents beautifully. We feel like it ought to easily please the soccer player and collector alike.
