1881 “Golden Era” Antique Piano!
What a find! WOW! 145 years ago, crossed the plains from New York and made its way to Seattle. Probably in a covered wagon or steam train…A cool piece of history that could be restored or just left as a historical treasure. Not sure the true history but it’s very old and is begging to be preserved. Grand plans to restore have not yet come true and age and medical problems have become issues that seem to have put this project on hold for too long. Too many projects.
Has a nice sound quality but needs some tuning and a few keys don’t want to bounce back. Some of the wood is separated and needs repaired. Hate to throw away an ancient piece that may be meaningful to someone, a collector or is attached to a sentimental value.
If interested at all please let me know I would like to get it moved asap.
Can move for a small fee.
