Offering up a rare American tall case clock reproduction crafted by the Colonial Clock Company of Zeland Michigan. This clock was authorized by the Edison Institute and the Henry Ford museum from an original Thomas Preston circa 1790 in their collection. Case is made from solid curly tiger eastern rock maple not veneered like one might expect. Movement is a quality Jauch which plays Westminster chime on the quarter hour followed by the hour strike at the top of the hour. Movement has recently been serviced 9-22 and runs strong as it should. The case with its hand rubbed finish is in perfect condition with no damage or repairs ever.
