Circa 1840 from Vermont with shaker webbing seat. A fabulous piece of folk art that will seamlessly blend into any décor. Claim ownership of this delightful relic from the past... Circa approximately 1840; I had it restored by having the seat rewoven with the same Shaker Workshops Chair Fabric Tape; In all the Shaker Communities, fabric tape was preferred over Rush, Wood-split, or cane because of its functionality. It does not dry out and break, nor does it pinch or snag clothing.
Good condition.
Dimensions: 38" high. Seat is 18" wide, 14" deep & 14 1/2" high
