A Kirkland company that has served its customers for over 50 years is seeking a CDL Flatbed Tractor Trailer Driver. This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday with weekends and paid holidays off. Our company hauls our own freight which is steel pipe, plastic pipe, and palletized plumbing fittings. Tasks required are but not limited to:
•Maintain friendly relationships with our customers and vendors.
•Safely operate a Tractor Trailer combination on public streets and back roads.
•Keep accurate drivers daily logs, electronic or paper, and daily inspections on assigned equipment.
•Secure loads using straps, ratcheting straps, winches, and winch bars.
•Light Mechanical tasks such as repair light bulbs, tighten bolts or screws.
•Install tire chains should weather conditions require it.
•Have or be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential. TWIC for Port access.
This is somewhat of a regional driving job. We do service as far south as Eugene OR and as far east as Sandpoint ID. from time to time. You may be required to stay out overnight once or twice a week as some of our back-hauls require loading on the following day. We do provide a company credit card to pay for work related things. We also provide a set allowance for meals if you have to stay out.

We also have nice equipment that's well maintained and if there is a problem, things get fixed asap. You are going to like it here.
