We are seeking an architectural designer with an accredited architecture degree who is working toward licensure and needs AXP hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys design, client interaction, and office leadership, and who wants broad, real world experience while progressing toward their Architect license.
This is a hybrid design, client facing, and office operations role. You will be an integral part of the studio and the first point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities
• Assist with architectural design, feasibility studies, and conceptual planning
• Support architects and designers with drawings, documentation, and presentations
• Participate in client meetings and property walk throughs
• Serve as front desk and client liaison, answering phones and emails
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and basic office operations
• Help manage consultants, subcontractors, and internal workflows
• Contribute to project organization, permitting support, and general studio management
• Accrue qualifying AXP hours under licensed professionals
Qualifications
• Accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Actively pursuing architectural licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working directly with clients and professionals
• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Design oriented with practical problem solving skills
• Proficient or developing proficiency in common design and office software
