The Drop-in & Street Outreach Staff is responsible for providing street outreach and survival supplies to out-of-home, runaway and homeless youth in North and East King County. The Drop-in and Street Outreach Staff also works to operate the Redmond Youth Service Center drop-in center. This position works as part of a team within the Outreach team. Other responsibilities include referring runaway and homeless youth to shelter and case management, youth advocacy, developing community awareness about Friends of Youth homeless youth services.
1. Bachelor's Degree in social services related field is preferred or 2 years' experience working with youth and young adults
2. Experience in working with at-risk and or youth experiencing homelessness is preferred.
3. Education or experience in cultural competency
