This beautiful drum set was made for me by a well known local drummer Rick Spano.
The shells are pure maple in a natural gloss finish. The shells are very thin, very lightweight and resonant. The shells are also slightly undersized which means they tune up very easily.
Hardware is in very good shape and solid.
The bass drum was originally a whopping 20x20 but I had it cut down to a much more manageable 20x14 by drum builder Adam Kozie from Portland.
All bearing edges are in excellent condition.
I've had these drums for 25 years and played everything from jazz to heavy punk rock on them. They worked great for every application.
There are some scratches and dings in the finish, most of which you have to look close to see. The bass drum hoops have some significant scuffing, especially around where the kick pedal latches on.
Sizes are:
20x14
14x16 (that's 14" wide and 16" deep) and
12x10 (12" wide)
I will also include a rims style mount if desired (I usually kept the rack tom in a snare stand)
