This used Ludwig rewrap kit in White Marine Pearl blends multiple eras of Ludwig construction into one powerful, stage-ready setup. Featuring a mix of 6-ply Classic Maple shells from the 1980s alongside an earlier 3-ply shell with reinforcing hoops, this kit delivers a wide tonal range with unmistakable Ludwig character. Shell Construction & Era Details
This is a unique, player-focused configuration combining different Ludwig builds:
* 12x15 Rack Tom, 16x18 Floor Tom, 14x26 Bass Drum: 6-ply Classic Maple shells from the 1980s, offering focused attack, controlled sustain, and strong projection
* 16x16 Floor Tom: Earlier-era 3-ply shell with reinforcing hoops and granitone interior, delivering a warmer, rounder tone with more open resonance
The kick drum also comes with two atlas mounts in place of two lugs.
This combination provides a broader tonal palette than a uniform shell pack, with the 6-ply drums offering punch and clarity, while the 3-ply floor tom adds depth and vintage warmth.

The kit has been professionally rewrapped in White Marine Pearl for a clean, cohesive look. The 16" floor tom wrap appears slightly more yellow compared to the rest of the kit, reflecting its different era and wrap batch. Overall, the kit presents well and is ready for stage or studio use.
