This is Beyer’s cardioid LDC offering from the late 90’s. This is the square capsule version - super clean (I’d consider this more of a ”medium diaphragm condenser”). A killer utility mic handling high SPL’s, with a flat response and extremely articulate sound.
The carrying case has some light scuffs on the outside, but otherwise solid. Features closed-cell foam so great protection but no risk of gross fuzz on the capsule!
Includes the clip style mount (I prefer it to the rubber-band style shock mounts they offered).
This has lived its life in a smoke-free, pet-free home studio. Very clean all around. Sounds great.
