I bought this several years ago intending to use it, but never ended up building a FireWire recording setup. Since my current computer doesn’t support FireWire, I have not been able to fully test it, so I’m selling it as-is. All physical controls appear to operate normally during standalone operation.
What I have tested:
* Powers on normally
* Standalone mode works
* Motorized faders initialize and move into position correctly
* All buttons, knobs, faders, and encoders respond normally
* Displays and LEDs are working
Known quirks:
* When switched into Standalone mode, there’s a very faint low db noise at first when sliders are motorized. I’ve found it goes away after adjusting the appropriate fader, but I want to mention it so there are no surprises.
* I have not tested the FireWire interface, inputs, outputs, or Pro Tools functionality.
Overall it’s in very nice cosmetic condition and appears to have been well cared for.
