'97 XR650L, $3500 REDUCED

Very cool bike, ready to go, into adventure mode. My friends and I are using it regularly, for North Bend riding, to Capitol Forest rides.
I got this low-mileage bike in November, as a project, and prepared it with the basics for serious dual-sport activity. I have put about a thousand miles on it, and respect the bike.

New tires, Dunlop 606
New throttle cables, new clutch cable
New side panier racks
New skid plate
New starter motor
New Oxford heated grips
New sprockets and CZ gold chain
New rear brake pads
New UNI air filter (pleated K&N filter included)
Exo "Big Gun" pipe, with fresh packing
ProCycle seat, good shape

Suspension setup for 215 lbs, incl gear
690cc big-bore top end
Acerbis see-thru 5.8 gallon tank
Has a rear tail rack
Decent plastics, polished
Waterproof, double USB ports, with voltmeter off battery
Sprockets: comes with 14T and 15T front, 40, 45, and 48 rear. (OEM setup is 15:45)
Maier Hurricane wind screen
Converted headlamp to LED
Fixed stuff, everything works as it should
Added side trickle charger hookup
Wheels were trued.

--Bike gets 45mpg, so the range is about 250 miles.
--Bike does wheelies without much effort
--No bags come with the bike.
--Kuaba lowering link available (1.75" lower)
--Garmin Zumo mount available, at an extra cost.
--CorTech soft bags available, at extra cost.

The riding season is here--shoot me a call, make me an offer. This bike is prepped: it's set up for a guy who wants a turnkey, basic, low-mileage, thoroughly maintained dual sport, set up for adventure (either day rides or camping), in the back country.
