The ideal candidate is somebody who has a passion for fixing things but may not be certified. Love to tinker on cars and trucks?
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
Day-to-day activities of the shipping, receiving and warehouse.
Organization, cleaning and maintenance of the 6 shipping docks.
Maintaining an accurate sense of product inventory.
Maintain a list or file of pending shipping releases.
Ensuring shipments transported adhere to current laws and regulations for DOT.
Ensure verification of shipping documents and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Trucks are adequately clean and in good condition each night
Next day deliveries are pulled and loaded in trucks when they return
Manage utilization of space and other physical resources to maximize efficiency and performance.
Maintain paperwork and documentation in a manner that will comply with policies and procedures.
Fleet Maintenance Duties:
-Filling up trucks in the AM
-Checking all fluids
- Ensure trucks are safety ready daily
-Minor rewiring and replacement of light bulbs in trucks
-Pre/Post Trip fleet inspections
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the warehouse:
Able to lift, push or pull up to 75-150lbs
Ability to operate a lift/forklift a plus
Knowledge of shipping and receiving
Must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Must have good decisions-making abilities
Monday-Friday 6:30-3:30pm but must be flexible
