Vintage Miriam Haskell Twisted Double Chain Necklace - $65 (Sammamish)

The double twisted chain design is about 1/4" wide
The necklace is a double rope design that is twisted all the way through
It has the oval Miriam Haskell stamped hang tag
It has the side clasp which was introduced in 1975 which was a flat oblong shape with the patent number 3427691 on one side and the Haskell signature in block capitals on the other. This clasp was discontinued in the mid-eighties.
I cannot verify this clasp is functional as I am not sure how it works. The size of the necklace allows it to be easily placed over the head and neck without using the clasp.
This necklace has acquired a deep and rich hue with age
This necklace could be worn alone or with a pendant
