The HR Generalist will be an integral member of the HMA People team and will have the opportunity to significantly contribute in many areas including recruiting, onboarding, wellness and engagement while working collaboratively across HR and HMA to build a culture of accountability. What YOU will do:
Recruiting: As the primary talent acquisition person, you will have the opportunity to work across the organization to lead our recruiting, interviewing and selection processes. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build out our employment branding efforts.
Onboarding and Orientation: You will coordinate both internally and externally to facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure immediate acclimation and quick start up for the new hire. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help us build out the onboarding and orientation processes.
Wellness: Lead the wellness efforts at HMA, coordinate giving opportunities, physical, emotional and financial wellness education, internal/external social events, and be a champion for wellness at HMA.
Support and /or lead HR team on other activities and special projects.
Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:
5-7 years HR generalist experience
5 years recruiting experience
Experience leading onboarding and new hire orientation
Bachelors or equivalent education and experience
Customer first focus
Sense of urgency
Ability to work independently
Creative problem solver
Willingness to be a team player AND a leader
