One year old refrigerator has a 12" x 3.5" cutout to accept a pet feeder. Keeps food fresh for extended periods. Our cat is gone so we no longer need it. This would also work for a small dog.
We can include a programmable 6 station feeder for +$20. This fits in the slot in the front of the fridge.
