TABLE DETAILS: This "nearly-rectangular" teak dining table is quite unique/different than most with its slightly curved shape, tapered legs and 1/2" tabletop edge detailing; in short, it's unique with the utmost quality and in pristine condition after being recently restored. Additionally, it exudes a wonderful warm teak-toned glow and has just been refinished and leaves color-matched so it now exudes a beautiful warm teak sheen throughout. This is Danish quality and styling at its finest from one of the better importers of Danish furniture - Moreddi (stamped underneath).
TABLE SIZE/DIMENSIONS: The scale of this dining table would be well suited for medium-to-larger sized dining spaces as the table is both wider and longer than normal dining tables of the era measuring 72.5" x 40" with two 23.5" concealed leaves neatly stored under the tabletop so it quickly expands to 96" long (with one leaf extended) or a whopping 119.5" when both leaves are expanded - enough for eight-ten people and ample real estate for serving dishes amongst everyone's place settings. Normal dining table height, 29.75" high.
CHAIRS: Six newly-restored, mid-century modern teak dining chairs - all featuring brand new professionally-upholstered fabric to highlight those lovely, curved backrests and beautiful old-growth teak frames! These beauties are from the 1960s-70s and are wonderfully constructed/designed of solid teak, quite sturdy and comfortable too (always an important thing).
CONDITION: With vintage teak dining chairs becoming increasingly rare/difficult to find, these were just lovingly restored from top to bottom with the frames being cleaned/conditioned/oiled to revive their vintage charm and old-growth wood glow...alongside all the seats/backrests have just been reupholstered in a wonderful and almost iridescent "gunmetal" chenille/velvet fabric to nicely blend within any interior aesthetic. So pretty!
CHAIR DIMENSIONS: 19"W x 18"D x 32"H; floor to seat height is 18"
CONDITION: I've restored numerous teak pieces over the years and this set is of the highest-quality craftsmanship, deep-and-dark old-growth teak coloring and overall condition. It's just been lovingly restored/reconditioned so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen with that lovely warm teak glow to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak wood-grain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed but still remain, I mention it for transparency. They present beautifully and certain to help make this dining set become the showcase of your dining area.
PLEASE NOTE these pieces is not in "vintage or as-found good condition" as you'll see on many local listings. Keen attention was paid to lovingly bring these beauties back to life with a complete restorative overhaul and protective period-correct finish/coating so they'll last for another 30+ years of dining. They present beautifully and are high-quality pieces of MCM furniture.
