This 80 mm apochromatic triplet refractor is an Explore Scientific ED80 FCD100 and comes with an excellent 2.5” dual-speed hexagonal focuser, a 99% reflectivity 2” diagonal (with 1.25” adapter), plus two extension tubes to support switching between visual and astrophotography configurations. I also added the 2-in-1 finder bracket which allows you to easily mount a finder scope or ASI-Air. Actually, a finder scope really isn't needed since, with a nice 2” eyepiece (e.g. ES 40mm 68 degree AFoV), you really won’t need a finder with a generous >5 degree FoV!
You will be very happy with this scope and I have enjoyed it over the years I’ve owned it, using it both for day and night visual observing and also configured it as a medium-wide-field astro-imaging rig (with my ASI Air). I have kept it in excellent condition with only the vixen dovetail plate having some markings caused by the mounting screws. I even have the original shipping box for the ED80 scope with all the foam inserts.
