1997 Ford Escort in pretty good shape for its age, I am the fourth owner. Previous 3 owners were all family/friends and kept the car maintained meticulously, with records to prove it (see original window sticker in photos). The car currently has 131k miles on it and is good for many more; unfortunately the alternator went out recently and I just don't have the patience for any more repairs, however minor they might be. The stereo has been out for a few weeks and the rear wiper does not work as well (both likely symptoms of the alternator). At 128k, radiator and cooling fan were replaced, and I just recently put on new Goodyear All-Season tires as well. For anyone handy with cars or someone willing to put in the time to fix the alternator, this would be a great buy at a rock bottom price. $2000 OBO
