Thank you for checking out my service. I'm hoping you have a broken device that needs fixing? I work on all brands of tablets, phones and PC's, Apple Macbooks, Dell, Gateway, Asus, Acer, Thinkpad, HP, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, ROG, etc.
I currently work out of my home, regularly buy broken devices from eBay in order to fix and re-sell them. So I'd like to open up my skills to the local community.
I repair broken device screens, replace damaged or weak laptop, tablet, or phone batteries, can fix no-power issues, broken or loose ports of all kinds (including USB and HDMI ports). I'm just as comfortable working on a VCR as I am a MacBook Pro, or any game console EVER. I grew up tinkering in MSDOS 4.01 with my first 80286 PC, eventually upgraded the hardware to play fancier games, bought and installed an actual Sound Blaster 16 when everyone else was stuck with the PC Speaker, and played hours upon hours on my grandfather's Atari 2600 (actually flipped the score counter in Asteroids). Tech is in my blood, CRT radiation burns have touched my face, and the song of a 56.6bps external US Robotics modem rings in my ears. I'll take care of your device and treat it like one of my own.
Most electronic devices and their common issues are repairable, but not all. Send me a message and tell me the details of your needs. I'll give you an initial rough quote for the repair. Final cost will be determined by parts used and time spent fixing it.
I require a non-refundable $20 bench fee for diagnostics (paid for up front), which will be applied to your final cost if I successfully fix your device. Please be clear and as honest as possible about what is wrong with the device or what happened to it just before it stopped working. The less I have to hunt for the cause of failure, the faster I can fix the device, which translates to lower overall cost to you.
Turn-around varies by issue and whether or not I have the parts to fix your particular device, and not all devices need replacement parts. I source parts from multiple different companies. Depending on what is needed, some can be here next day, some within a week, and some require a month shipping from overseas suppliers. I will update you regularly if the device is not a quick turn-a-round.
