Are you ready to move up from an inflatable tender? This is the dinghy for you!! This Garvey style tender is an incredibly versatile small power boat. Her 5’ ample beam provides exceptional stability, interior room and carrying capacity. Her moderate deadrise of 11 degrees provides a much softer ride than a flat bottom boat.
The absence of the inflatable tubes gives much greater interior volume when compared to a similar length inflatable boat. Her upraised bow and spray rails provide a very dry ride. And the best feature of all: unlike an inflatable, this boat will NOT deflate! As added bonuses, she rows very well, and is great for pulling pots, fishing, exploring an anchorage, or shore visits. Two downrigger attachment brackets, and rod holder. Two transducers, a through hull Airmar B60 and a transom mounted with downview and side scan in addition to traditional multi range Chirp. Davit lifting eyes installed for suspending from a stern davit.
This boat is brand new construction by a seasoned boat builder. She is constructed of Okume mahogany marine plywood using the stich and glue method. The mahogany is covered and sealed inside and out with fiberglass and epoxy. The fiberglass is painted with 4 coats of marine polyurethane. All of the fasteners, including eyes for lifting with a transom or crane davit, are stainless steel or bronze. She comes with lots of great features watertight compartments in the rear sponsons, dry storage and open storage sections under the rear seat, and a watertight sealed hatch under the front seat. You can easily add a fish finder and downrigger if you choose.
She is currently outfitted with a long shaft, 2018 Tohatsu 20 hp four stroke motor, and will easily plane with 3 people aboard. This outboard has electric start and runs well. You can see and watch it run. Fuel tank included.
Trailer not included but I can deliver locally.
