Sam Devin wooden boats are very sought-after designs, built of marine plywood using the stitch and glue method. I have a completed, paint-ready hull of his "Nancy's China" sailboat design for sale. This hull was constructed from one of Devlin's kits (a $4000.00 value) by a retired professional woodworker. All the interior cabin work, deck and cockpit still need to be done. Included with hull will be approximately 350 pounds of lead ballast, the remainder of the kit, drawings, plans, build manual and other literature I have on this design. The hull is still upside down on its build jig. The jig itself is on removable casters, but to transport it will require a flatbed or similar trailer. (I rented a U-Haul trailer to bring it to my house from Seattle.) This would make a great winter project, resulting in a brand new sailboat for the next boating season. See the Sam Devlin website for images of completed boats. The sixth through eighth images shown in this ad are examples of finished Nancy's China boats, not the unfinished one for sale.
Asking $1000.
Also available at additional cost are three sailboat masts, a Mercury 7.5 HP outboard motor, a West Marine RIB, and various and sundry boat bits.
