This tandem has zero miles on a complete overhaul-two brand new bottom brackets, all brand new cables and housings; every moving part of the drivetrain is brand new-NOS triple chainrings, new 7 speed freewheel, all new chains and both tandem drive chainrings. Also featuring Suntour seven speed index thumb shifters that actuate a replacement rear derailleur-period correct Suntour but with no miles on it; Pedersen self energizing rear canti brakes, and a rear drum retard brake with like new lining thickness. Front Suzue hub cartridge bearings new, Phil Wood 48 spoke rear hub bearings still good so I left them, because they're better than what's available new today. Serviceable Bontrager tires, new brake pad cartridges on the rear (front was still good so I left them).
Complete, ready to roll, this bike needs nothing but a pair of happy riders!
PS I rode this with my girlfriend, up the hill to local coffee shop. On the way down, we're riding along and I'm shifting up and pedaling easy.. when we rolled by the electronic speed limit sign, it registered 38mph!! Handling smooth as glass.
