The core of this bike is a large Zion singlespeed frame made of premium Reynolds 853 air-hardened steel and an eccentric bottom bracket (EBB) that enables the chain tension to be easily adjusted. Ride Quality: Steel frames are praised for their smooth, comfortable, and forgiving ride quality, a trait often described as "steel is real".
It was purchased as a frame ($500 for frame) and built up with an assortment of quality parts detailed below.
This is a super fun bike on moderate trails, low maintenance, and an excellent way to build core riding strength.
Known issues are two dents in the drive-side chainstay. Comes with an assortment of extra cogs, chain, and brake parts.
Brakes and fork lockout just had fluid changed and bled. Forks have new fluid too. Tires/rims running tubeless.
