Solid brass 'footman' fireside footstool with decorative pierced top and sides.

Originally was used at fireside, to hold a trivet or kettle.

Can be used as a small stool or table or a plant stand.
Curvy cabriole type front legs, back legs are straight, legs and back are also solid brass.

Very good condition for its age, original patina, not restored. One screw on the side has been replaced with a more contemporary screw.

This is quite heavy!
