I am looking to have an Arabic translation for a few English speaking parts in a short video promo.

I thought about using Google translator but realized that was kind of a silly idea. I think it's important to get an accurate translation.

Please state how much you would charge to translate the following into Arabic text that I could copy and paste into a word document. I wonder if I might need a font to do this? I have included a link to the rough draft for the video promo so the lines below will make more sense. Here are the lines:

You want help picking a TV channel?

Come on. I'll give it back.

Bro'. Bro'--what are you doing?

Dude not cool. Come on. Plug it back in, Bro'!

...Crap!

Here is the link to the video:

Let me know. Thanks!

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE AD BEFORE RESPONDING!
Many of you writers have done alot of fine work alone. I would like to combine your talents in order to create a marketable project. This a non paying gig, but you will be complately compensated when a finished product is published and sold. All writers must agree to put this in writing with the other writers. You will be considered "ghost writers." No professional experience is necessary, but you will have to prove your skill levels
Someone may be good at writing romance, another may be good at writing action, or even drama. These talents together may add to the the whole of a project. I will be looking for a very diversed group of people with noticable creative writing skills. I will also be looking for someone who can type and dictate. I will also be looking for an editor. And finally, I will be looking for a 'front person,' someone who will be the public person taking all the credit for our writing. This individual will be the author of all our projects and will do all the touring and book promoting, our public figure.
Please ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES NEED RESPOND. Show your seriousness by leaving your name, phone number (home and cell), a mailing address, and a brief overview of your writing skills and experience. All writers will have to be able to meet in Seattle, WA at least once a week for about 3-5 hours. This is a serious commitment and we hope to get some very serious writers.

Intern at Worldchanging.com!

Hey you! Passionate about sustainability and social innovation? Want to work on the frontiers of journalism and new media? Worldchanging is looking for a few bright, creative and exceptionally motivated interns to help us launch several big projects now in the works.

You're a bold, bright, optimistic information-seeker who loves to be the first to share new solutions. The work itself will be a mix of editorial research and project organization. You'll need to apply good writing, communication, fact-checking and research skills. Basic computer skills are a must; competence with spreadsheets will put you at the top of our list.

We expect interns to commit to a minimum of 20 hours/week for at least 10 weeks, and to display professionalism in meeting that commitment. You'll need to work at least half time on-site in our cool, funky, Seattle loft office. Most importantly, you'll need a passion for thinking about solutions to the planet's most pressing problems: if you have that, this gig will be exciting, challenging and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on the cutting edge of sustainability.

This position, though no doubt rewarding on other levels, is unpaid. We can, however, offer incredible exposure, access to great thinkers, invitations to cool events, and, occasionally, a free lunch.

To apply: Please send your cover letter, resume and 3-4 best samples of your writing to Julia Steinberger, Managing Editor, via the address listed.

In 2006 Tales of Our Time reached out for help to people on Craigslist who had creative writing and/or editorial experience. We asked them to write a review of one of the 110 short stories.

Many replied, mostly writers who wanted to add their review to their CV. Quite a few wrote more than one review. To date, over 70 stories have been reviewed and those reviews are posted on our web site, www.talesofourtime.com.

And, as noted on our site, ‘Since we do not compensate reviewers, we are even more appreciative of their literary insight.’

We are reaching out again, this time to help write summaries of the 10 novels listed on Tales of Our Time. Summaries, not reviews.

The ability to read fast is helpful, the ability to clearly summarize what you’ve read in 250 words, essential.

If you think this experience would add to your editorial/creative writing CV and want to participate, please respond.
About Us:
Farmhouse Magazine is an independent online magazine with a distinct literary bent. While toeing the line between highbrow and lowbrow, we tirelessly work to promote new and emerging voices in the arts through our bi-monthly issues. Each issue is as diverse as our growing audience, and the work we feature is often linked by the complexities of this post-post-modern world, or as we like to call it, the Open Source generation. Fully aware of the strained relationship between art and technology, Farmhouse Magazine blazes its own trail and sets the standard for the nascent community of online magazines.

Seeking Your Story About the '95 Mariners (online)

I've set up a website at 1995mariners.com. The site is a place for Mariners fans to tell their memories about the team and share them with other fans. I'm gathering up stories that cover the entire season, from the 55-55 start of the year through the comeback, winning the division in the Angels playoff game, the Yankees series, and even the loss to the Indians. Stories about off-field things are welcome too, especially the rumors that they were headed to Florida if there wasn’t going to be a new stadium.

All I'm really looking for is some vivid memories of '95, something beyond just Griffey rocked!!!, or Wow, weren't Edgar and Randy great. You can take a look at the stories already on the site to see what other people have done. Length is up to you, and entries will not be edited beyond fixing obvious typos. If you've got something to say about the Kingdome food, or what it felt like being at game 5 against the Yankees, that's great: I'm trying to assemble something that will add to the raw statistics of '95. It's all unpaid and voluntary-for me and you-so I can only ask for so much, but the goal here is to produce a unique resource for Mariners fans. Email your story to me at letters@1995mariners.com.
