Job Description:
Our agency client is in need of a solid Web Developer.

To qualify, you must be proficient in XML, JavaScript, .NET/C# (site is all in C#), MSCOM systems and delivery experience (Dev, Testing, Staging, Pub Wiz), Terminal Services, RAS, experience delivering on PubWiz, PPE, and have an understanding of webconfig file settings.

Our client will be conducting preliminary phone screens on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, making a selection and looking to have the selected candidate be onsite this Friday (11.6.09) for a couple hours to get briefed in.

This will be an onsite position with a work station and computer provided. You will be working about 20 hours a week.

You will be jumping into the middle of an existing site build, so we are looking for a strong developer and you won't be doing any design.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We'd tell you about what project you'd be working on, but... we can't. It's top secret and totally cool. What we can tell you is that our client working on this project needs a top-notch information designer to collect and digest seriously complex information and turn it into a visually stunning, exceptionally clear product for visual presentation.

A strong background in information design and presentation is crucial as is having exceptional communication and listening skills. A degree in information design or similar is highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

A portfolio of projects displaying a deep understanding of fontography, color theory, and a clean, modern design aesthetic.
The strong ability to collect and compile information in an aesthetically pleasing and clear manner.
The maturity to take a project and run with it without hand-holding. Must be both independant and work well with a team.
Strong portfolio presentation skills, the ability to defend your designs, and discuss your design aesthetic is a must.
Candidates MUST have an online portfolio. No exceptions.
Degree in Information Design strongly preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
� Collaborate with sales, country editors, business owners, and the international platform development team on plans for highly engaging holiday landing pages which can be sponsored by international advertising partners.
� Develop clean and structured code for front-end projects using HTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash and JavaScript.
� Develop tracking for landing pages to measure user interaction and profitability.
� Provide technical support and troubleshooting for country editors, systems and IT during localization, testing and implementation of the new landing pages.
� May require research on country-specific design styles and collaboration with country editors for markets like Japan and China.
� Design, develop and help test online tools to help streamline the editorial processes and improve SEO.
� Design and/or modification of other HTML elements or graphics like custom, email newsletters, contest pages, or feature promotions.
� Prioritize daily workflow based on goals communicated by Director of International Solutions based on sales campaigns deadlines and other dependencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
� Minimum of 3 years experience creating sites with HTML, XHTML, and CSS.
� Demonstrated experience and profiency with Adobe Flash and JavaScript.
� Demonstrated experience working with Adobe CS3 � Dreamweaver and Fireworks and/or Photoshop.
� Experience optimizing to multiple browser, specifically IE 6 and up, Firefox 3.0, and Safari.
� Experience with various page layouts, animations, and website development.
� Knowledge of with ActionScript, AJAX, JQuery, ASP.Net, and/or C# a plus.
� Understanding of design principles that promote effective marketing.
� Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through.
� Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel required. SharePoint helpful.
� Degree in fine arts, graphics design, computer science, or additional relevant experience on a year-by-year basis.
� Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
� Desire to learn and implement best practices related to work deliverables.
� Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
� Cultural sensitivity and interest in international cuisines.

building a website for brain cancer patients. The website will be
hosted at Swedish Medical Center, Cherry Hill campus, Seattle.

Specific Job Duties

- Installation of existing website code
- Interface with scientists to understand design and requirements,
provide input in the design process for efficient implementation. This
will require onsite visits.
- Development and deployment of the website according to the specifications
- Document all the written code.

Qualifications
