Anyone who was at Sing Sing at the War Room last Friday who witnessed the altercation between 3 women, two bartenders, a lot of drink throwing and a large man who punched one of the women in the face, *please* respond ASAP! We need witnesses who can help us verify what happened.

The fight involved an altercation between a bartender making homophobic remarks and 3 gay women. The man involved had nothing to do with the business until he decided to punch someone in the face. Any help or feedback from the community would be greatly appreciated.

The VFW is across from FIRE STATION 12 on 148th in Redmond. Tickets sold at the door $9.00 a dinner. We welcome the public- tickets are for sale at the door. We welcome any perspective volunteers as well. ISRAELI APARTHEID: Al-Nakba and 60 Years of Palestinian Resistance

While Israeli and American officials celebrate the 60th anniversary of Israel's founding this year, the Palestinian people mourn al-Nakba -- the catastrophe. In order to make way for a Jewish-only state, thousands of Palestinians were massacred and over 750,000 forcibly expelled from their homes, never given the right to return. Unfortunately the catastrophe of Israeli apartheid continues to this day. Since the democratic election of Hamas, Israel has subjected Palestinians to collective punishment�escalating military attacks, expanding illegal settlements and turning the occupied territories into giant prison camps, cut off from vital food and medical necessities. Nonetheless, the Palestinians have a long history of resistance to Israeli occupation, backed by immense solidarity from ordinary people across the Middle East and the world. Just like in South Africa, a struggle can be built to bring down this brutal, undemocratic regime and fight for a state with equal rights for all. Come join us for a discussion of this history and the questions facing us today.

AMIN ODEH is a Palestinian refugee from Aida camp in the West Bank. His family became refugees after they were forced out of their home by the Israeli army and armed settlers in 1947. In the first Palestinian Intifada (uprising) in 1987 he was detained several times by the Israeli army and held in a military prison. In 1990 he moved to the U.S. while continuing to advocate for the Palestinian cause. After the second Intifada started in 2000, he helped start the group Voices of Palestine to educate the public about Palestinian suffering under the Israeli military occupation.

HUDA GIDDENS became a refugee from Palestine in 1948 during the Nakba (catastrophe), and is a member of the Nakba Coalition. She is a King County Commissioner, a member of the Palestine Task Force in the Church Council of greater Seattle, and founder of the Giddens School. She has taught in Gaza, Jerusalem and continues to teach in Seattle today. She traveled to Israel and Palestine in January 2008.

SAM BERNSTEIN, a Jewish anti-Zionist and socialist, will talk about the nature of Zionism, it's role in serving the aims of US imperialism, and where we can look for solutions to the current crisis.

I am putting together a listing of ripped off customers, for anyone who was sold a warrenty by them as the "F and F" plan (as in...this warrenty covers everything except for fuel and fluid). The warrenty they sold me has covered NOTHING in 30 months and every time I called to complain about the warrenty not covering anything they just suggest I call them next time I have a problem...which I will because they sold me a lemon, NEVER once suggesting to me that I was able to cancel the warrenty at ANY TIME.

Falcon Kindred's Freyfaxi 2008 Blot to Freyr will take place at the home of Troy Wisehart in Yelm,Washington. As is our tradition, Falcon Kindred will celebrate with Blot, feast and sumble.

Freyr's domain is virility, the harvest, and male virtues in general. His symbols are the stallion and the boar, two animals which epitomize those concepts. Statues of Freyr traditionally featured a huge stiff penis, a sign of the god's life- and joy- giving properties.
Freyr is mainly a god of prosperity, peace, and fertility but his protection and influence extend to the warrior as well as the farmer. Helmets bearing a boar-shaped crest were described in Beowulf, and their real-life equivalents have been found by archeologists. One of Freyr's nicknames is "god of the (war) host", and he is described by Snorri Sturluson in the Prose Edda as a mighty warrior.
Mainly, though, Freyr is a god of fruitfulness, plenty, and pleasure. Point for point he is a male counterpart to Freyja, his sister. Together the two make up a very typical fertility god-and-goddess pair. As is often the case with such couples, their names translate as "Lord" and " Lady".
Freyr's role in the present age is to foster appreciation for the qualities of manhood, to help men to realize their innate masculinity, and to help us re-link with nature that we may play our role in the scheme of things, men and women alike.
