A Seattle/Tacoma based stone fabrication shop is looking to fill a part-time production assistant position. This position requires experience in polishing and installing natural stone and quartz materials. A good understanding of the properties and different qualities of natural stone and quartz materials is beneficial. Solid knowledge in the operation of a fork lift and hand tools is necessary.
This job requires great work ethic and the upmost attention to detail. Cleaning the shop and work areas to insure a safe working environment is one duty of the production assistants. Other duties include alerting the shop manager when shop supplies are low, having daily conversations with the shop manager, and maintaining a smoke-free environment.
• Must have 3 or more years experience in the trade.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation and a contact phone.
• Must have a firm understanding and speaking capabilities of the English language.
Starting Salary DOE plus performance based incentives. No medical. 20 day trial period.
