My name is Drew Pappas and I have a band here on the Key Peninsula, in the area indicated. We recently lost a guitar player due to mutual agreement and are seeking a replacement. We have some demo recordings and have one show under our belt, and looking to plan some more occasional shows. Ideally we are looking to eventually book around one or two a month, with weekly practices.
Our style is Indie/Punk/Pop, flavored with electronic, but we are looking for something fresh. Right now we are called "Hearts Asunder" but that is likely to change as we move in this new direction.
We are seeking a skilled guitar player who has influences such as Angels and Airwaves, Delirious?, the Killers, Relient K, Hillsong United, the Postal Service, Shiny Toy Guns, Pheonix, Jack's Mannequin, U2, Owl City, and Third Eye Blind. Needs to be flexible and moldable, and able to gel with a band, and follow leadership. Currently there are 3 of us. We like to have fun, rock out, and laugh. We try to keep practices as tight as possible, and if everyone cooperates, we have alot of fun together. Anyone who joins this band will have a blast. I am the lead singer and I also am an experienced guitar player, but we need someone else to hold the bulk of the guitar work. If you can play any other instruments its a major bonus. I also play synth and basic keys. We have a solid bass player and an intermediate drummer. All members are commited. I am also an Audio Engineer so it will be easy for us to record quality demos. We are a Christian band and are seeking to worship God and glorify His name in all that we do. That is the PURPOSE of this band. I know I'm asking alot, but if you are reading this and you fit the ticket, that just might be an answer to prayer. We are looking for a male from the ages of 18-25. There are exceptions of course.
