HOURS: Part-time position, approximately 10+ hours per week, Mon-Thurs mornings and evenings.
CLASSIFICATION: This position is classified as a
part-time/seasonal position and is not eligible for benefits. This position is an at-will position with no written or implied contractual agreement.
DUTIES:This position is responsible for instructing children, ages 3 to 6, on fundamentals of a variety of sports to include basketball, soccer, track & field, and tag games. Also, responsible for developing and leading infant/toddler activities for ages 9 months to 4 years that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children, insuring equipment and the facility are clean, safe and well©\maintained at all times; perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of related experience working with children required
Must have general knowledge of team sports & early childhood development
Must have excellent verbal skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a passion for teaching children
Current valid First Aid and CPR Card
Employment is subject to a Washington State Patrol background inquiry pursuant to RCW 43.43.832
