Tacoma executive staffing firm seeks a dynamic Recruiting Assistant for internal opportunity.
SCOPE:
Responsible for assisting Senior Recruiters in performing research of companies, scouting and recruiting candidates, coordinating interviews, follow-up, and data input. Provide strong administrative support for the Executive Search Team. The ability to work harmoniously and professionally with a wide variety of people, including candidates, clients, and employees in a fast-paced environment is essential.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proactively perform hands-on scouting and recruiting of candidates which includes communicating on a professional level with top executives.
• Use various resources, including the Internet and cold-calling to gather information on industries, companies, and individuals to assist with recruiting efforts for specific search assignments. Identify key players in various industries and generate contact/telephone list.
• Utilize sales experience and skills to market selected candidates to targeted companies.
• Perform detailed reference and background checking on designated candidates. Type written references for presentation to clients as part of the hiring process. Prepare candidate references including verifying education, past employment, and requesting credit report and criminal background checks as needed.
• Responsible for performing all administrative tasks including typing/re-formatting resumes, interview notes, references and other miscellaneous correspondence; proofing processed documents; and maintaining miscellaneous files.
• Project management duties include coordinating and preparing client presentations such as gathering information, printing/preparing candidate resumes, job descriptions, candidate interview summaries, and salary surveys for presentation of candidates to clients. Oversee presentation process from conception to completion and review final presentation books to ensure completeness.
• Gather information and prepare search contracts and offer letters, temp-to-hire contracts, candidate hire letters, and other miscellaneous correspondence in regards to new and completed client job orders.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Strong background in sales and marketing and/or service industry.
• Experience making outbound calls.
• Strong writing/composition skills, with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ACT! 6.0 Database
