the motor has eagle high comp pistons on stock rods but has crower bearings. the vave cover was painted by a friend and came out kinda fugly, but is a 10 dollar fix if it bugs you THAT much.

i am open to trades for:

an ef coupe, a vtec f series motor, an AR ( preferably dpms or rock river arms ) a kimber, a sig sauer,
a turbo kit ( including a nice t3/t4 turbo, front mount intercooler, a butt load of piping, hose clamps, a blow off valve, injectors and a boost controller )

I have a 6.9 diesel that was taken out of my 86 f-350... It ran great when it was taken out,,, had lots of power,,, and started every time!! I had the motor taken out at a local shop and they put in a Jasper rebuilt motor. I had just had lots of work done to the motor including all new injecters, glowplugs, injection pump.... ect.. The motor smoked a little when I would sit at a stop light and then when I pressed on the throttle to get back moving again (Grayish color) and was using about a quart of oil every 500 miles or so... the head gasket seemed to be just fine... I have a recent compression test that showes a few of the cylinders are in the 320's and a dino showing that the motor was still making somewhat good power. I just couldn't see all of those new and expensive parts going to waste being used as a core. This would proably be a great motor to use for a rebuild and or if you just wanted to have something to just run for a while, im sure it would do just fine... I have about 5000-8000 miles on the part since installed I drove the truck from seattle to las vegas and back once and towed a u-haul on the way back and it did just fine even with 40 inch tires.... Please feel free to give me a call with any question you might have if this is something that you are interested in... I know the shop that did the motor work im sure would be willing to talk to whoever was interested in this motor and I have all the reciepts to prove the recent work... and the a copy of the compression test and dyno.
