SENIOR BRIDGE/STRUCTURES PROJECT MANAGER (#SUM902)

Parametrix, a premiere NW engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm, is seeking a full-time SENIOR STRUCTURES PROJECT MANAGER to join our Sumner, WA Bridge and Structures division. The successful candidate will possess robust technical experience with thorough knowledge and understanding to manage design projects and interdisciplinary teams on bridges and structure projects for federal, state, and local clients. Responsibilities will include project and task management; development of technical memoranda and study reports; preparation of calculations, plans, specifications and cost estimates; and mentoring of junior staff. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a BSCE (MSCE preferred) and 15+ years progressive experience in analysis and design using AASHTO and WSDOT (or equivalent) standards; project management and delivery; client and business development; and possess a PE license (SE preferred) in WA State (or the ability to obtain within six months of employment). Candidates must be proficient in finite element analysis programs; be well-versed in current seismic analysis and design methods; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and embody exceptional client service ethics.
