We are Nurture in Nature Preschool, and we are looking for an experienced preschool teacher to join our team. Our nature-based preschool program started this past September, and we are growing. Inspired by a combination of early chidhood philosophies, such as Reggio Emilia and Waldorf, our approach is one that honors the child as an individual, teaching social skills while encouraging nature exploration. The teacher we are seeking is experienced in working with young children and posesses an interest and/or experience in environmental education. An understanding of positive discipline techniques and an appreciation for learning through play is desired.
