12/31: KNITTING CLASSES (TACOMA-HILLTOP)

Each class level consists of 2-two hour sessions. The cost for each class is $40. My students, after just the first class, have commented that they are thrilled with what they’ve learned after only two hours and are thrilled with my relaxed and adaptable techniques of teaching.
I’ve taught people of various career backgrounds and education levels, left-handers and those who’ve professed that they are un-teachable.
Knit 1: Beginner Knitting-Basics of knitting. Upon completion of class you’ll have learned basic stitches and will have completed either a scarf or purse and will know how to read a pattern.
No previous knitting experience required.
Knit 2: Intermediate Knitting-Pattern Stitches. Upon completion of class you’ll have learned 6 different pattern stitches and will have completed 6 different washcloths and possibly more (depending upon your advancement). You will also know how to read a written pattern as well as a graph and diagram.
This class requires that you know basic knit stitches such as at least one method of cast on, k, p and bind off.
Knit 3: Advanced Knitting-Advanced patterns and working with beads. Upon completion of class you’ll have learned advanced stitching and will have completed an item of your choice with beads.
This class requires that you know Intermediate knit stitches and are comfortable with reading patterns.
