Confluent Data Systems, Inc is based in beautiful Wenatchee, Washington. We provide application services and business analysis through a client focused business model. We are currently in search for a Software Engineer in Test/Quality Assurance Engineer to work at our Wenatchee or Redmond office.

The role of Quality Assurance Engineer will involve participating in the development, publication and implementation of test plans, including writing and maintaining test automation. As the Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality assurance and testing in .Net or ASP.NET environments
Tests software programs to compare to specifications and documentation
Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times
Creates test cases and test data
Installs, maintains, and uses testing software programs
Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation
Documents, tracks, and communicates test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems
Develops computer programs to test, track, and verify defects in software programs
Required Qualifications:
Experience with standard automated testing tools such as LoadRunner, Application Test Center, or Selenium
Knowledge of unit testing and automated quality assurance technologies
Familiar with .Net or ASP.NET environment
Performed quality assurance and testing in .Net or ASP.NET environment
Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
2-4 years of experience in the field
Education:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent in experience (at least 4 years)
Additional Notes:
Background screens are preformed and security clearance may also be required of the position Active Security Clearance a plus
