My child care philosphy is one of love and nurturing. It is my belief that rather than give children all the bells and whistles and bright colored toys, all they really want is a place where they feel at home, safe and loved. A place where their caregiver responds to their needs asap.
I am a Certifed Postpartum Doula, Nanny and caregiver for the elderly and disabled with excellent references who is opening my home to a small group of children. I am trained in baby sign language for pre verbal communication and also did extended nursing with my own children.
A typical day in our home away from home setting will include healthy grazing snacks all day long as well as balanced meals for your little one - made with organic fruits and veggies and as little processing as possible. We get our organics delivered from Pioneer Organics!
There is limited TV time and when it is watched it will be approved movies or PBS type preschool appropriate and /or Animal Planet.
We live on a quiet dead end street with a huge front yard and a fenced back yard so there is plenty of opportunity for outside playtime. We are also setting up a small raised garden so that we can all participate in fresh grown veggies this summer.
I am a mother of three who uses a child centered approach to raising her own children and would love to nurture yours while they are away from their home. My goal is to have your children feel as home in my home as they do in their own. :)

I have just 2 more spaces left. A $200 (towards June's care cost) fee will hold your June, July and August months for $350 per month - children ages 6-12 ; 450 for 4/5 year olds and I also have 2 toddler / preschool spots left :)
