What you need.
1) A restaurant to give you their used oil (Most are happy for you to take it).
2) Methanol (Racing fuel), we can supply you the information to buy it locally.
3) A small amount of potassium hydroxide (Chemical also used by soap makers) which can be purchased from us at a reasonable price.

Potassium hydroxide for your first batch.
One free titration test for your new oil source to determine how much potassium hydroxide is needed for each batch.
Additional equipment needed:
1) A method of pre-filtering your used oil to remove large food particles.
2) Need to heat oil to 120 degrees before adding to processor.
3) A steel barrel to pre-heat oil in, and an additional one to store finished biodiesel.
4) A hand barrel pump plus a 10 micron or better filter to pump finished biodiesel into your vehicle.
5) Titration kit, if your oil is from more than one source. Safety equipment such a goggles, gloves, and apron.
