An organization is forming to assist parents assure amazing support and experiences for their children during the next year, experiences that they not be able to afford alone. It may be art classes for a talented child, educational tutoring, cultural experiences or outdoor experiences..
As a single mom, I raised 9 children by the seat of my pants and know how valuable it would have been for my children to have experiences beyond just meeting daily needs.
Our first meeting to discuss the possibilities will be at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 - 58th Ave. W, on July 23rd 7: p.m. Our local Native American artist, Andrew Morrison, will share how art changed his life.
You can call me for more details or with questions at 425-774-1142.
It’s takes a village to raise a child and it takes individuals who care to raise that village.
That is what we are up to!
Come and check this out.
