Pontiac Grand Prix GTX Show Car - $20000 (Lynnwood)
You are looking at the epitome of a Show Grand Prix! Pictures truly do not do this car justice. This car started its life as a Black Grand Prix GTP. It left the factory and was converted by SLP (who also did the Camaro SS & Firehawk) to their "GTX Ram Air" package. A brand new GTX ran about $32k. I bought this car when it was 4 years old and since then it has been an on-going project. I have many receipts for all of the modifications done to the car, which total up to over $40k! Now let's talk paint. This was a $11,000 paint job! I decided to go with Electron Blue Metallic (which is an 02-03 Corvette Color), the door & trunk jams have been done also. The flames have a basecoat of Gulf-Blue Metallic and then were treated to 9 carefully airbrushed layers of House of Kolors paint to acheive the Kandy Teal. Also, after the Electron Blue was put down the flames were all shadowed to make them stand out nicely. But, this Grand Prix is not all show. The performance of the Supercharged 3.8 V6 is more than enough to back up its muscular looks. It delivers 320+ HP and 320ft-lb Torque. Its a 100% street legal race car that is fast, corners hard, and stops on a dime. I re-iterate all modifications are street legal. The car makes a fine daily driver for someone that wants a little excitement in their commute. It still gets decent gas mileage, about 19 city, 26 hwy. Thanks to the supercharger, you only burn fuel when you want to, otherwise, the car gears low for economy. Press the Performance Shift button and all bets are off as this car is ready to rumble.
So, here is the question on most of your minds... here is a badass Grand Prix, modified to the hilt and flawless... why sell? My family & friends have been asking the same question since I first threw out the idea of selling this beauty. The fact is, I just feel like starting on something new. This is my hobby, and to be honest... I just feel like starting something new. So, here is your perfect opportunity to get an amazing show ready, magazine-cover ready Grand Prix that just needs a new home with someone to love it as much I have. This car is my baby and every square inch has been meticulously maintained. It has lived its entire life in a garage and seen little rain. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR AND NEEDS NO REPAIRS.

Please don't compare this to KBB or any other value sytem, you have to see it. You are purchasing a work of art on wheels. There is nothing stock about this car. That said, it is quite easy to work on or have repaired by a good local shop. It was appraised in 2004 at $42,000 and is insured at a value of $50,000.
